Growing Together: Building Emotional Awareness & Meaningful Connections
In partnership with Circles RVA, WE Unite, LLC facilitated small-group learning experiences for participants of all ages, creating opportunities to explore emotional wellness, healthy relationships, and the power of authentic connection. Through interactive games, guided conversations, and shared reflection, participants were encouraged to better understand themselves and others while building practical tools for navigating relationships across family, professional, and community settings. The series reflected the belief that when we create space to learn, grow, and support one another, we strengthen the communities we share.
Emotion Jeopardy: Naming Feelings, Building Understanding
Through a team-based, interactive experience, participants explored emotions, communication, and social-emotional learning through categories such as Name That Emotion, True or False, Tell Me About a Time, What If, and Have You Ever Heard/Said This? The activity encouraged participants to reflect on lived experiences, challenge common assumptions about emotions, and examine how everyday language can shape the way we express ourselves and connect with others. Together, participants explored the value of vulnerability, empathy, honesty, and active listening as tools for healthier relationships, resilience, and collective healing.
Red Flag or Real Talk?: Healthy Relationships & Intentional Choices
Participants explored what healthy relationships look and feel like across romantic, family, friendship, and professional settings. Through relatable scenarios, guided dialogue, and hands-on activities, the group examined boundaries, communication styles, relationship patterns, and the difference between healthy behaviors and potential red flags. The experience encouraged self-reflection and meaningful conversation, helping participants recognize how intentional communication, accountability, mutual respect, and care contribute to stronger connections with ourselves and others.
