Life in Motion: Real Choices, Real Impact

In partnership with Home Again Richmond and Shineforth, WE Unite facilitated social-emotional learning experiences designed to support young adults, adults, and families navigating homelessness and the journey toward stability. Through interactive life simulations, participants explored financial decision-making, credit, daily living skills, and the unexpected realities that shape our everyday lives. By making real-time choices within a simulated monthly budget, participants had opportunities to reflect on the relationship between decisions, resources, and long-term well-being.

Building Healthy Connections: Understanding Ourselves & Others

Through engaging conversations and creative activities, participants explored the foundations of healthy relationships, including self-love, communication, kindness, boundaries, and emotional awareness. Groups created space to recognize how emotions influence our interactions, navigate real-life scenarios, and develop practical tools for responding to conflict with greater understanding and intention.

Red Flag or Real Talk? Relationships, Boundaries & Self-Respect

Using interactive games, guided dialogue, and relatable scenarios, participants examined healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns across romantic, family, friendship, and professional settings. The experience encouraged reflection on accountability, empathy, communication, and self-respect—reinforcing that healthier connections begin with intentional choices, mutual care, and a willingness to grow. Through these shared experiences, WE Unite fostered spaces where participants could learn, reflect, and build confidence in navigating life and relationships.
